LOCTITE® 510 High-Temperature Gasket Sealant
Create bulletproof, leak-free seals on rigid metal flanges subjected to extreme temperatures and chemical environments. LOCTITE® 510 is a premium, high-temperature anaerobic gasketing compound designed to replace or reinforce traditional pre-cut paper, cork, or rubber gaskets on rigid machined mating surfaces.

No Gasket Relaxation or Compression Set: Because LOCTITE® 510 cures into a hard, rigid thermoset plastic, it fills all micro-imperfections on the metal surface without adding physical thickness. This ensures a true metal-to-metal contact, preventing joint relaxation and subsequent bolt loosening.

Extreme Temperature Tolerance: Formulated to perform reliably at continuous operating temperatures up to 204°C (400°F), making it one of the highest-rated anaerobic gasketing materials on the market.

Instant Low-Pressure Sealing: Immediately after assembly, the wet paste provides an instant seal against low pressures before full curing begins, allowing you to test assemblies for minor leaks right away.
Key Technical Specifications :
Anaerobic Curing Mechanism: LOCTITE® 510 remains liquid as long as it is exposed to the oxygen in ambient air. It only begins to cure once the mating metal flanges are bolted together, starving the compound of oxygen and activating the metal ions in the substrate.
