Carbon Teflon Shafts, also known as PTFE Carbon, is a composite material that combines polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known as Teflon, with carbon fibers. This combination enhances the properties of both materials and creates a material with improved strength, wear resistance, and stability.

Graphite Filled Teflon Key Features :

Massive Wear Resistance: Carbon-filled PTFE offers up to 100 times the wear resistance of virgin PTFE in dry-running or boundary-lubricated conditions.
Inhibited Creep & Cold Flow: The structural reinforcement of carbon particles dramatically improves the material’s compressive strength, preventing deformation under high mechanical loads.
Excellent Thermal & Electrical Conductivity: Unlike insulating virgin plastics, carbon-filled PTFE dissipates friction-generated heat away from the running surface. This keeps operating temperatures low, preserving the integrity of nearby seals and bearings.
Naturally Antistatic: The carbon matrix allows static electricity to safely discharge, making it ideal for cleanrooms, chemical processing, and explosive environments.
