Description
When designing, manufacturing, or selecting permanent magnets for commercial and industrial applications, shape and composition dictate performance. Among the most popular configurations are circle magnets and round magnets with hole (commonly referred to as ring magnets). Within this geometry, two materials dominate the market: high-grade N52 neodymium and ceramic ferrite.
N52 Neodymium Ring Magnets :
Neodymium (NdFeB) magnets are rare-earth alloys known for producing extreme magnetic field strength relative to their volume. N52 represents the highest commercial energy product rating (52 MGOe).

Magnetic Strength: Exceptionally high; ideal when maximum pull force is required in a compact profile.

Temperature Sensitivity: Standard grades lose magnetism above unless specially engineered.

Corrosion Resistance: Prone to oxidation; requires protective plating such as Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni), Epoxy, or Zinc.
Ceramic Ferrite Ring Magnets :
Ferrite magnets are composed of strontium or barium ferrite oxide. While significantly less powerful than neodymium per unit volume, they excel in harsh environmental conditions.
