Description

Industrial Springs :

Specializes in manufacturing industrial springs across a variety of durable materials, including MS Iron and Stainless Steel grades 304, 316, and 201. Therefore, feel free to contact us today to request custom sizing for your exact operational needs.

1. Compression Springs :

Compression springs are open-coil helical springs specifically designed to resist axial pressing loads. Consequently, when a compressive force is applied, the spring shortens and stores energy until the force is finally released.

  • Heavy Duty Compression Springs: These are engineered from high-tensile alloy steels in order to absorb immense loads. Specifically, they excel in demanding applications such as industrial die sets, oil field valves, and heavy automotive shock absorbers.

  • Stainless Steel Compression Springs: In contrast to standard alloys, these are manufactured explicitly for high-corrosion environments, elevated temperatures, and sensitive medical or food-grade machinery.

  • Conical Springs & Conical Compression Spring Designs: These feature a unique cone shape where coils nest neatly inside each other during compression. As a result, they offer a noticeably lower solid height alongside increased resistance to buckling.

2. Extension Springs :

Similarly, extension springs are tightly wound helical coils, but they absorb and store energy by creating resistance against pulling forces instead. They feature hooks, loops, or custom ends to securely attach to separate mechanical components. Thus, as the attached parts pull apart, the spring naturally acts to bring them back together.

For instance, in overhead garage systems, garage door extension springs are mounted along horizontal tracks, extending along the ceiling to effectively balance the door’s weight during movement.

3. Torsion Springs :

Unlike compression or extension springs, torsion springs operate strictly via rotation, exerting torque or rotational force whenever they are twisted around their central axis.

  • Spiral Torsion Spring: These consist of flat steel strips coiled spirally to deliver continuous torque over several turns. Consequently, they are frequently utilized in clockworks, seatbelt retractors, and counterbalance mechanisms.

  • Double Torsion Spring: This design incorporates one left-hand and one right-hand coil section connected together. By working in parallel, they effectively double the overall torque capacity within a single assembly.

  • Small Torsion Springs: These are precision-wound coils crafted primarily for delicate electronics, small hand tools, hinges, and intricate automotive controls.

  • Garage Door Torsion Spring: Typically mounted on a header bar directly above the door opening, these specialized springs twist continuously in order to lift massive vertical doors safely.

4. Leaf Springs and Vehicle Suspensions :

Meanwhile, a leaf spring consists of one or more arc-shaped steel plates bound tightly together to support heavy vertical loads while providing a controlled spring rate. Because of this durable construction, it remains the backbone of heavy commercial transport, light trucks, and utility trailers.

5. Belleville Springs and Constant Force Springs :

For non-traditional mechanical requirements, specialized spring geometry is often required:

  • Belleville Springs: Also known as a Belleville disc spring, these conical washer-shaped discs are engineered specifically to support massive loads with minimal deflection. Furthermore, they can be stacked in series or parallel to maintain bolt preload, handle thermal expansion, and absorb heavy dampening forces in flange connections.

  • Constant Force Springs: These are rolled strips of pre-stressed stainless steel that uncoil smoothly, thereby exerting a uniform force throughout their entire stroke. As a result, they are essential components in retracting tape measures, counterweights, and medical devices.

  • Helical Anchors: Although primarily used in structural foundation stabilization and earth retention, these specialized helical flight systems nevertheless rely on continuous spiral mechanics similar to industrial coiled tensioning equipment.

Available Manufacturing Shapes :

Additionally, we manufacture a broad selection of custom profiles. Specifically, the shapes we manufacture include:

  1. Conical Compression Springs

  2. Standard Compression Springs

  3. Extension Springs

  4. Gas Springs with Welded Eye

  5. Torsion Springs

  6. Draw Bar Springs

  7. Disk Springs

Ultimately, for any other custom spring shapes or specialized dimensions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
